    Curriculum

    The 123-credit Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management program includes:

    • 18 hospitality management credits
    • 30 food and beverage core credits
    • 15 business core credits, and
    • 60 general education credits

    You will get an ideal mix of in-depth service management, business, and liberal arts courses with a strong food and beverage core unique to the CIA.

    The curriculum features a semester-long internship experience, as well as optional, specialized study concentrations in key hospitality industry segments.

    Requirements

    • A high school diploma or GED credential.
    • Recommendation—One character letter of recommendation is required. It should be from an employer, teacher, or professional colleague either within or outside the foodservice industry. The letter should address your commitment to the food world, problem-solving ability, and persistence in either work or academics.
