Francis Lam—an award-winning food journalist and cookbook editor—is the host of The Splendid Table, a preeminent radio food program, and editor-in-chief at Clarkson Potter, a leading cookbook publisher. A former columnist for The New York Times Magazine, he serves as a guest judge in the new Netflix series Next Gen Chef and previously was a judge on Bravo’s Top Chef Masters. He graduated first in his class from the Culinary Institute of America and holds a bachelor’s degree in Asian Studies and Creative Writing from the University of Michigan. He now lives with his family in New York.
