St. Helena, CA – Ted
Hall, president and CEO of Long Meadow Ranch & Affiliates, spoke at The Culinary Institute
of America at Greystone’s certificate graduation on April 12. Twelve students
in the CIA’s Wine and
Beverage Graduate Certificate program graduated, along with 21 from the
college’s Accelerated
Culinary Arts Certificate program.
Mr. Hall is a former managing partner of McKinsey &
Company’s San Francisco branch. As an advocate for sustainable farming
practices, he serves on the boards of Basic American, Inc. and Sunfed Ranch
LLC. He’s also a board member for Napa Valley Grapegrowers and is the chair of
the Agricultural Education Advisory Committee for the St. Helena School
District. Mr. Hall holds a BSE degree in electrical engineering from Princeton
University and an MBA from Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business.
Long Meadow Ranch is an innovative group of family-owned
companies including a winery, restaurant, café, farm, ranch, and more. The
group produces ultra-premium wines, olives and olive oil, grass-fed beef and
lamb, and organic fruits and vegetables.
