The SyFy Network's popular Ghost Hunters
program is featuring Roth Hall, the main building of the CIA's New York campus, in its new season. The episode, "Too Many Apparitions in the Kitchen," debuts on the cable channel on September 2
at 9 p.m. EDT.
Before The Culinary Institute of America moved to Hyde Park in 1972, the building was the St. Andrew-on-Hudson novitiate for more than 60 years. Legend has it that a priest, Father Murphy,
haunted the building.
The crew from the television show, along with a team of paranormal investigators from The Atlantic Paranormal Society (TAPS),
spent several nights on campus last fall. To find out what—if anything—they found, tune in and feel free to live tweet the experience using the hashtags #GhostHunters and #CIAGhost.
