Ariane Duarte '88, chef/owner of Ariane's Kitchen in Verona, NJ, is being honored as a
Woman of Influence by the T.J. Martell Foundation. The presenting organization is the music industry's largest foundation for leukemia, cancer, and AIDS research. Its
4th Annual Women of Influence Awards is being held on May 13 in New York City, and will be hosted by radio personality Robin Quivers.
Regularly appearing as a guest chef on TV talk shows, Chef Duarte has also been a contestant on Bravo's
Top Chef, the Food Network's
Iron Chef America and
Beat Bobby Flay, and HLN's
Cook Your Ass Off.
The event benefits the Foundation's breast and ovarian cancer research programs.
