Napa, CA – The
Culinary Institute of America (CIA) is hosting a job fair at its new location, The Culinary Institute of
America at Copia, next week with the goal of
hiring 100 employees bringing an influx of new jobs to the City of Napa.
The job fair is being held Wednesday, September 7 through
Friday, September 9 from 10 a.m.–3 p.m. each day. The CIA is currently hiring
for its new restaurant, store, and demonstration theater.
Positions include servers, cocktail servers, bartenders, host/hostess, event
staff, sales associates, culinary demonstrators, pastry cooks, and line cooks.
Hiring managers will be available on-site for on-the-spot interviews. The CIA
encourages applicants to bring a resume and references to the job fair.
The CIA acquired the Copia property in November 2015 and plans to open this fall. The facility features a
280-seat theater, a vibrant restaurant, a 72-seat demonstration kitchen and
theater, a retail store, classrooms, and exhibition spaces, with more to come
in 2017. The CIA will carry forward the facility’s original goal of providing
excellence in culinary education and food, wine, and arts-based experiences for
both visitors and our local communities with its offerings.
