July 24th is National Tequila Day.
On a warm summer day, a blueberry margarita is just the ticket to refreshment! Chef Scott Samuel demonstrates the method in the video below.

- 1 cup crushed blueberries
- 1/2 cup simple syrup
- 1 cup ice cubes
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 1/4 cup lime juice
- 4 fl. oz tequila
- 4 fl. oz blueberry juice
- Combine the crushed fresh blueberries in a shaker with the simple syrup and ice; shake to muddle.
- Add the orange juice, lime juice, and tequila and shake to combine.
- Strain into ice filled glasses and top with a 1 oz. shot of blueberry juice.
