Bruce Hillenbrand is vice president of admissions at The Culinary Institute of America (CIA), where he is responsible for student recruitment efforts. He previously served as vice president of marketing and strategy for the college.
Prior to joining the CIA administration in 2003, Mr. Hillenbrand was an executive with Unilever Bestfoods North America. At Unilever Bestfoods, he served as vice president/general manager of the dressings business unit. Before the Unilever acquisition, Mr. Hillenbrand held successive positions of increasing responsibility at Bestfoods. These included vice president, business management and vice president, sales for Bestfoods Grocery U.S., and vice president/general manager of Bestfoods Grocery Canada.
Mr. Hillenbrand began his career in marketing and management at General Foods Corporation. He earned his Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Harvard Business School, Boston, MA, and his Bachelor of Arts degree from Princeton University, Princeton, NJ.
