Alice-Ann Schuster is associate vice president & dean of student
affairs at The Culinary Institute of America (CIA). In this position,
she is directly responsible for all student affairs at the college,
including residence life, health services, counseling, student
activities, and the recreation center.
Prior to joining the CIA administration, Ms. Schuster was dean of
student affairs at Paul Smith's College in Paul Smiths, NY and at
Vermont College of Norwich University in Montpelier, VT. She also served
as assistant dean for women and counselor at Elmira College in Elmira,
NY and as transfer counselor and foreign student advisor at Corning
Community College in Corning, NY. Ms. Schuster has taught physical
education at the Arkport Central School in Arkport, NY.
Ms. Schuster is a member of the College Student Personnel
Association, the National Association of Student Personnel
Administrators, and the National Orientation Directors Association.
Alice-Ann Schuster holds a Master of Science degree from the State
University of New York at Albany and a Bachelor of Science degree from
Ithaca College in Ithaca, NY.
