On the fifth season of the program, 13 award-winning chefs are competing the title of Top Chef Master, and $100,000 for their charity. According to Bravo’s website, “The chefs face off in some of the most difficult and unique challenges seen thus far—and they’re serving up food for some top entertainers and celebrity guest judges.”
Seven out of the 13 chefs competing earned their pedigree at the CIA:
Bryan Voltaggio ’99
Franklin Becker ’93
David Burke ’82
Neal Fraser ’92
Jennifer Jasinski ’89
Richard Sandoval ’91
Sue Zemanick ’01
In addition to the alumni competitors, one of the judges is Francis Lam ’03.
