Reduced Hours and Activities During Late July/August

We love to welcome campus visitors, but before you make your plans, please note that amazing changes are underway at the CIA campuses during the summer and our visiting hours and restaurant hours may be affected.

Please note that classes for degree and certificate program students at all of our U.S. campuses will not be in session from July 27–August 20, 2018. Classes will resume on August 21.

Admissions

  • The Admissions Office at all three campuses will be open to welcome prospective students and their families.

Restaurants

  • Since many of our restaurants rely on our students for the full CIA dining experience, please refer to www.ciarestaurantgroup.com for the most up-to-the-minute information.
  • At the New York campus, all restaurants will be closed during this period.
  • At the CIA at Greystone in St. Helena, California, The Bakery Café by illy will be open, but Gatehouse Restaurant will be closed.
  • At the CIA at Copia in Napa, California, The Restaurant at CIA Copia and Contimo Provisions will be open.
  • At the Texas campus, the CIA Live Fire Kitchen will be open Thursday–Sunday, and Nao will be closed.

Faculty Bio: Joshua Bossuat

Business Fundamentals

Joshua Bossuat is vice president—private equity for Sutter Securities Incorporated in San Francisco, CA. Born and raised in Lyon, France, he moved to California at the age of 16 to continue his education. Mr. Bossuat has since spent his entire career in finance, beginning in asset management, where he worked in risk mitigation, portfolio construction, international investment selection, portfolio management, and alternative investments (hedge funds and private equity). He then transitioned to technology investment banking and has spent more than a decade working with growth-stage companies in the private and public markets. Mr. Bossuat enjoys getting right into the trenches with his clients, helping them work on intricacies of their corporate strategy and execute the growth plan for their businesses. He also enjoys working on and completing mergers and acquisitions.

Prior to joining Sutter Securities, Mr. Bossuat was a managing director with Security Research Associates. He graduated from the University of the Pacific with a degree in global economics and earned his MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management. An avid food enthusiast, Mr. Bossuat enjoys cooking, talking about food, dining out, and, in his spare time, engaging in the deep contemplation of life's great questions such as: what his next or ideal meal is going to be.
