Alumnus Earns a Silver Plate Award

The International Foodservice Manufacturers Association (IFMA) has presented a 2016 Silver Plate Award to Rafi Taherian ’95, associate vice president of Yale Hospitality at Yale University in New Haven, CT. Taherian earned the honor in the "Colleges & Universities" category.

Silver Plate Awards are presented annually by IFMA in recognition of outstanding and innovative contributions by leaders in the foodservice and hospitality industry in nine segments of operations. The nine honorees are finalists for IFMA’s Gold Plate Award to be announced during the National Restaurant Association show in Chicago on May 21.
