CIA SAFE Plan Highlights
Our CIA SAFE (Shared Accountability for Everyone) Plan focuses on ensuring the health and safety of our entire campus community—students, faculty, and staff. The following highlights some of its core components:
Reducing Density
CIA academic campuses (Hyde Park, NY; St. Helena, CA; and San Antonio, TX) will remain closed to the public and other visitors until further notice. This includes outside guests and visitors to residence halls.
Safety Precautions
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Students and employees are required to wear masks in all classrooms, labs, and common areas. Masks are also required in all outdoor public places.
Personal Health and Well-Being
- Pre-Return Health Screening. All students, faculty, and staff will receive a questionnaire via e-mail prior to returning to campus.
- Daily Checkpoints. Students, faculty, and staff will undergo daily health screenings, including temperature checks, prior to entry.
- Testing, Tracking, and Treating. Working with local and state governments in its respective locations, the CIA is prepared to implement testing and tracking protocols for its campus community.
