Jason Lowenthal joined CIA’s faculty after seven years as director of catering sales at CIA Catering and brings more than 20 years of experience in the hospitality and event management industries to his role. Prior to CIA, he worked in various roles, including director of service, staffing manager, beverage manager, and senior captain, for Restaurant Associates in New York City, and Miami, FL. He also served as an events manager for BITE New York, a boutique catering company, and Olivier Cheng Catering & Events, a high-end events group.
Lowenthal’s education includes professional training from a two-year conservatory at Circle in the Square Theatre School in New York City. He is also a Certified Tourism Ambassador (CTA) for Dutchess County, New York. He is looking forward to sharing his passion for hospitality and service with his students.
