Culinary Institute of America graduates won every category in a Food & Wine magazine pastry chef competition.
Elliott, of the Hyde Park CIA’s Class of 2001, won the top prize, in
Food & Wine’s The People’s Best New Pastry Chef competition.
Elliott, who co-owns Foreign & Domestic, a restaurant in Houston,
Texas, took the Central Region prize and the national award, according
to Elliot and the magazine’s website.
CIA alumni won the competition’s two other regional awards as well.
