The list, which was unveiled on June 27, includes chefs, sommeliers, butchers, pastry chefs, mixologists, and restaurant managers who are hailed as “Rock Stars Redefining the Industry.”
Three of the six alumni on the 30 Under 30 List earned both their bachelor’s and associate degrees from The Culinary Institute of America.
This year’s list of Zagat’s New York City 30 Under 30 also goes to show that the CIA is preparing our graduates for great careers outside of the kitchen. All three alumni that earned their CIA bachelor’s degrees are now either directing or managing beverage programs. And with more options for your bachelor’s degree than ever before, we’re focused on preparing you for exciting growth areas like beverage management, food science, foodservice in health care, and more. A CIA education prepares you for a broad range of opportunities in the restaurant and foodservice industry, and it’s not just life in the kitchen anymore. With a CIA degree, you can build your career around your love of food and hospitality.
Congratulations to all of this year’s New York City 30 Under 30!
