The Perfect Off-Campus Summer Activity!

CIA has so many opportunities to do fun activities both on and off campus. This past weekend CIA took some students to go white water rafting. It was a perfect day for CIA students to adventure with friends and conquer the rapids!
White water rafting is basically a huge inflatable raft where a group of people try to navigate it through fast-flowing water. Most of the time for white water rafting the water can be somewhat rough.
The best part of these trips is getting a chance to make new friends—what better way to start a friendship than with an epic white water rafting trip! When it was time to get into the inflatable rafts, everyone was given a life vest before getting on the water. Then you were broken up into your teams and one team got the chance to ride the rapids with Dr. JJ Manley, CIA senior associate dean of campus life and student development.
Afterwards, there was some time to grab food and enjoy the rest of their off-campus adventure a bit more. Then it was time to head back to campus.
As you can see, there’s always an opportunity to do something fun off campus!
