SECRETS TO SECURING RESERVATIONS
Reservations are recommended for the American Bounty Restaurant, Escoffier Restaurant, St. Andrew's Café, and Ristorante Caterina de' Medici. Reservations are easier to come by for lunch and dinner on weeknights than on Fridays or Saturdays. Because the CIA is a college, all restaurants are closed on Sundays and major holidays.
Reservations are accepted up to three months in advance. Call on the first business day of the month three months preceding your special occasion, and you are almost guaranteed the reservation of your request.
The off-season months (January to April) provide a great opportunity to experience a meal at the CIA. During this time, you can often reserve a table just days before visiting.
Occasionally, customers holding reservations cancel, making a visit on short notice a possibility. Call the CIA restaurant reservations line the afternoon you would like to visit to learn if a table at one of the restaurants has become available.
