  • New York Events for Adult/Transfer Students

    Save Time and Money with the CIA's Bachelor’s Fast Track ProgramThese events are for college graduates or college students, career changers, and career advancers seeking to pursue their culinary passion. These events provide a focused opportunity for you to learn about the world's premier culinary college. You'll learn about the CIA's gold standard curriculum, outstanding career options, simple admissions process, and financial aid scholarships. You will have the chance to speak with an admissions counselor about your individual questions.

    Space is limited for events. Please be sure to reserve your spot early.

  • Adult/Transfer Student Open Houses

    The Open House will include an admissions presentation, a culinary demonstration by the CIA's Chef Freddy, a campus tour, and a financial aid presentation. Hors d'oeuvre will be served. This program is for prospective students who have already graduated from high school.

    Registration is at 12:30 p.m. and program will begin at 1:15 p.m. Admissions staff members will be available to answer all your individual questions.

  • Transfer Student Tuesday Information Sessions

    Transfer Student Tuesday Information Sessions are for prospective students who are interested in learning how to save time and money by transferring their credits to the CIA. Sign up for a 30 minute appointment with our Transfer Credit Team to get a personal evaluation and find out what credits you’ll be able to transfer. In addition you will receive a CIA gift bag, a $25 voucher to the CIA’s Apple Pie Bakery Café, and the option to take a tour of our beautiful Hyde Park, NY campus.

  • ACE Student Information Sessions

    The ACE Admissions Information Sessions are for Industry Professionals with a minimum of 2.5 years of professional kitchen-related experience who are interested in the 15-month associate degree program. You'll learn about the college, admissions process, financial aid opportunities, and tour our beautiful residential campus while getting a firsthand look at the world's premier culinary college. If you have individual questions, you can meet with an admissions counselor after the campus tour.

  • Food Careers Seminar

    Food Careers Seminar are for prospective students who are interested in the many career options the food world has to offer. The seminar will include a presentation about the CIA degree programs and the treasure trove of career paths available to you, a CIA alumni panel featuring a cross-section of our successful graduates, a campus tour of our beautiful Hyde Park, NY campus, and an exclusive look-in at the CIA Career Fair, featuring hundreds of visiting food industry employers. Attendees will also receive a free copy of Creating Your Culinary Career by CIA career services guru Ron Hayes, free lunch on-campus, and a $50 Barnes & Noble gift card that you can use at the CIA Bookstore!

  • Admissions Information Sessions

    Admissions Information Sessions for prospective students are available throughout the week when the college is in session. You'll learn about the college, admissions process, and financial aid opportunities. You'll also tour our beautiful residential campus and get a firsthand look at the world's premier culinary college. If you have individual questions, you can meet with an Admissions Officer after the campus tour.
