HVAC & Refrigeration Mechanic

The Culinary Institute of America has an opening for a full time HVAC and Refrigeration Mechanic on our first shift maintenance department. The successful candidate must be a high school graduated with formal trade education in HVAC and Refrigeration and minimum three years of solid field experience with a universal CFC Certification. This position requires extensive experience in all types of refrigeration equipment, commercial exhaust and ventilation systems, packaged air conditioning equipment, variable air volume systems, and steam and hot water heating systems. In addition, candidate must have operational and troubleshooting experience with electrical, electronic, and digital control systems, including voltmeters and electronic charging equipment. Knowledge of water-source heat pumps is a must. The campus atmosphere demands solids interpersonal and communication skills.

Hours for this position are Wednesday through Sunday, 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
