Three Flavors of Cooking Classes
Choose from dozens of fun and exciting weekend courses in three distinct styles, from two hours to one day:

  • Taste of CIA Cookbooks

  • These one-day, hands-on cooking classes at our New York, California, and Texas campuses are inspired by our popular cookbooks. From Italian and Asian cuisine to grilling to artisan bread baking, you’ll find a class to match your interest—and you’ll take the cookbook home, too!

  • CIA Samplings

  • In these two-hour cooking classes, California and world cuisine come alive. Enjoy a demonstration, do a little hands-on cooking, and savor the results—expertly paired with wine, of course! It’s a great way to sample the education experience at our Napa Valley campus.

  • Wine Explorations

  • Wine Explorations are the perfect complement to our cooking classes—California is all about food and wine, after all! In just two hours of discussion and tastings in the CIA’s Rudd Center for Professional Wine Studies, you’ll be introduced to the wonderful world of wine.

Parent and Teen Day—April 17

Spend time together with your teen in our kitchens and bakeshops, nurturing a budding interest in culinary arts or just plain having fun. All of our April 17 Taste of CIA Cookbook classes are devoted to parents and teens, so you'll be in great company. Reserve your spots now—these classes are sure to fill up fast! Teens participating in these classes must be at least 12 years old. (Hyde Park, NY campus only)
