  • Applying for Housing

    New Students

On-campus housing is guaranteed for all incoming first-semester students. Incoming students who wish to reside on campus must apply for housing at least 30 days prior to their entry date. Please complete the on-campus housing request by either completing the online form OR downloading the forms in Adobe Acrobat:

You will receive notification of your room assignment about three weeks prior to your entry date. Roommates are selected based on gender, age, and smoking/non-smoking preferences. While all residence halls are non-smoking, we cannot guarantee roommate assignments of non-smokers with fellow non-smokers.

    Returning Externs ONLY

Welcome back to the CIA! The Residence Life staff would like to help make your transition back to campus as smooth as possible. Students returning from externships must complete the on-campus housing request form located on the student web portal by following the steps below:

    1. Log on to the student web portal.
    2. Click the "My Information" tab at the top of the page.
    3. Click "Residence Life" on the drop down menu.
    4. Click on the "Housing Application."

Please complete all fields in red on the application and all other fields applicable to your housing needs. All housing requests must be submitted to the Residence Life office using this online form. Housing requests made via other forms, will delay your room request. You will receive notification of your room assignment via your CIA e-mail account about three weeks prior to your return date. Please note: We no longer mail assignments, nor do we give assignments by phone.
