The Campus Wireless Network is compatible with the following hardware:

PCs and Laptops running Windows XP
Processor 1ghz or better with 256mb RAM and 5 gig available hard drive space, 1 Available USB expansion slot and CD-Rom drive (for software install). -
Macs
Macs using an airport card can use our wireless network. Your mac must be airport compliant to use the mac airport card.
Recommended Card:
We've tested a number of cards and we strongly recommend using the NetGear WG111.
In addition to being compatible with both laptops and desktops, this device offers both portability and great reception when used with the included USB extension cable.
If you arrive with this card installed, you will be able to get online as soon as you are issued your MyCIA.net information. If you need help installing the card, the Information Technology (IT) Department will be more than happy to be of assistance. More information will be made available during orientation when you arrive.
