The Culinary Institute of America

Students who are on attendance probation and who miss two more classes (in their freshman or sophomore year) or six more classes (in their junior or senior year) will be required to attend a meeting of the Attendance Committee.

Students who do not attend the scheduled meeting of the Attendance Committee will be automatically suspended for three weeks, and the committee will determine whether and under what circumstances they will be allowed to continue their studies at the college.

Since the decision of the Attendance Committee is final, there is no appeal.
