ACADEMIC POLICIES

While we believe the CIA provides an education beyond compare, you’ll be instructed and evaluated like students at any other college. You’ll be taught a variety of information, skills, and values throughout the curriculum, and be evaluated based on your performance in the classrooms, kitchens, bakeshops, and dining rooms of the college as you progress toward your degree.

To ensure that our students make the most of their educational experiences, the CIA maintains certain academic standards with respect to attendance, academic progress, and academic honesty. You are responsible for conducting yourself to meet these standards.
