Throughout the year, the Student Activities Office sponsors a variety of events for students, most of which are free of charge.

Most take place in the Student Recreation Center and include:

• Casino nights
• Coffeehouse events
• Hypnotist shows
• Comedy nights
• BINGO
• Band performances
• Game shows
• Dances
• Lectures
• Bowling nights

We also sponsor a variety of off-campus trips at a minimal cost to
students. Destinations include:

• New York City
• Yankees and Mets games
• Nets and Devils games in New Jersey
• Six Flags Great Adventure
• Boston
• Ski resorts
• Outlet malls
• Minnewaska State Park
• Outdoor Camping and Sporting Equipment Rentals

Need a break from campus? Dreaming of getting away from it all for a while?

Entertainment options abound in New York's Hudson Valley region. Enjoy hiking and mountain biking in the Shawangunk and Catskill Mountains. Try skiing or snowboarding at one of many area resorts. Explore the eclectic shops and eateries in nearby Rhinebeck. Or, take the train to New York City for sightseeing, shopping, a Broadway show, and to explore the diverse foods and legendary restaurants of the city that never sleeps.
