Campus Life

Enjoy a Vibrant Campus Life at the CIA

When you arrive on the CIA campus, you'll find that there's a whole lot going on here. It's not only a great place to learn; it's a great place to live. There are a variety of facilities, activities, and events at and around the college that make campus life so exciting and fun.

Student Housing—There's no better place to relax than your room, and our residence halls and lodges provide all the warmth and comfort you need to kick back after a long day in the kitchens or bakeshops.

Student Activities—Whether it's athletics and fitness in the Student Recreation Center, entertainment out on the Courtside Café deck, various college-sponsored trips or intercollegiate athletics, the CIA offers plenty of opportunities for you to live campus life to the fullest.

Student Clubs—These campus organizations are great ways for you to connect with people of similar interests in active, social settings.

Location, Location, Location—It's all here: noted Dutchess County orchards and farms, a number of awesome art exhibits and galleries, a bevy of outdoor activities, shopping and theater, and close proximity to New York City.

These are just a few of the features that make up campus life at The Culinary Institute of America—an experience students look back on fondly long after they've graduated.
