Apply for Career Discovery for High School Students at The Culinary Institute of America's Hyde Park, NY campus and get a taste of what it's like to be a CIA student. You'll also learn about career opportunities in the dynamic foodservice and hospitality industry, the largest private employer in the nation.

| PARENTS: Career Discovery is an Exciting Opportunity for You, Too! Take a road trip with your aspiring culinarian as he or she embarks on an exciting future in the world of food. A parent or legal guardian must accompany the student to Hyde Park for the program. This gives you a great chance to bond with your child and share in this life-changing experience. You're encouraged to join your student at all events except hands-on classes, and to participate in the voluntary activities we're offering during those student-only events. Just please be sure to pick up your student at the end of the day's programs, and to chaperone him/her at the hotel and other off-campus locations.
