Hi everyone, my name is Christopher and I am 21 years old from Washington DC. I am currently pursing my bachelor's degree in Baking and Pastry Art Management, having completed my associate degree in 2006.
I first came into this field through my career high school where I studied culinary arts as my major. After three years of learning what my high school had to offer I wanted to learn more. My chef mentioned The Culinary Institute of America and had nothing but positive things to say about it. After some research of my own, looking at the CIA and various other institutes, I knew the CIA was right for me.
Once I started here I felt right at home, despite never coming to visit the campus before attending. With the unique curriculum I have been able to learn a lot from this school, and have had numerous experiences that I wouldn't have had if I had decided to attend another school.
